Aurélie Sorel is Chief Administrative and Financial Officer at Hi Inov. She oversees the administrative and financial management of both the management company and the funds it advises. Her responsibilities include producing and structuring financial information for the funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supervising valuations, and coordinating financial reporting to investors and regulators. She works closely with the management team on all financial matters related to the funds and contributes to the reliability, transparency, and consistency of the information shared with LPs, in a regulatory and economic environment that is constantly evolving. She is also in charge of ESG data collection and reporting for Hi Inov’s funds, in line with the firm’s commitments.
Working at the crossroads of portfolio companies and LPs, on topics ranging from performance monitoring and valuation evolution to the reliability of financial information shared with investors, makes Hi Inov a particularly stimulating environment. The diversity of subjects, combined with the constant evolution of regulatory and market frameworks, creates a dynamic setting where rigor, adaptability, and long-term vision are essential.
Aurélie Sorel has more than fifteen years of experience in private equity and asset management, with solid expertise spanning seed, venture capital, growth, and buy-out strategies. Before joining Hi Inov, she was Finance Manager at Partech Partners, where she was responsible for portfolio company valuations, investor reporting, financial statements, and the support of new fund launches. She also led several projects focused on the digitalisation of financial tools and managed teams.
Previously, she held the position of Fund Finance Manager at Weinberg Capital Partners, where she oversaw asset valuations, performance indicators, capital calls and distributions, and relationships with external service providers. Prior to that, she spent nearly five years at Tikehau Investment Management as Finance Manager (Vice President), contributing to consolidated asset monitoring, budgeting processes, and internal and external financial reporting. She began her career at ABN AMRO Investment Solutions as a financial controller.
Aurélie holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Corporate Finance – Information Systems and Management Control from IAE de Poitiers.

A basketball player for more than 27 years, Aurélie has developed a strong sense of teamwork and discipline, values that also guide her professional approach. Outside of work, she enjoys spontaneous weekend getaways, cooking, and going to the cinema.
